I know this is going to stir the pot but there were some pretty quick boats there last year. Any new boats comming this year? The yellow city chevrolet looked like it was real tough last year.

I'm bringing mine, but at the rate I'm going, getting it together, it will probably be the slowest! :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

I am building a pump-gas motor. I expect to lose about 12 MPH.But I will definitely continue to run it HARD.I am with Dave...slowly,but surely.

You have to "Get Technical" when you ask that question.
If you ask who will be the fastest in the 1/16 mile it will be probably be that yellow mouse motor boat.
If you ask who will be the fastest when they "run em out" then that is a GOOD QUESTION.

Jack will probably maintain his position as the fastest on the lake again this year.

There is a difference between fastest and quickest, are you talking about on a radar run or lining up side by side and seeing who goes the fastest from point A to point B?

Rumor has it, if you beat Jack
You end up all black and blue, sore as hell, in a potato sack and missing your boat.
Ask anyone where the boat is and all the locals just spit and say, I aint seen no boat like that around these parts.....................
Be good, Jim

Hopefully the wind won't blow this year as it did last on Saturday, it was later in the day Saturday, before the 100 mph plus boats were safe to run.

I had my boat out on the river last night for some dyno runs....I'm going to run my lower gears and up the boost to 16 psi. Pretty quick in a 400 yard dash. I know I wont be the fastest or the quickest, but with 800 hp in a 17 foot v- drive I sure will put on a show.

Jspeed.. has a good point,Last year ,the white caps did not allow HI SPEED passes...I tried a couple,...I like me !!!..There is better water for more than one or two HI SPEED passes.I went back over to Jacks beach and hung.

something's gonna happen

I agree with Jack... unless water conditions are perfect i think i am going to just relax and enjoy the day... How about those horseshoe pits... should we have a small tourney? Those pits are the meca of waterfront drinking games.
I'll bring some ringers.....
