Maybe I mentioned it, maybe not. I went to Military school in my high school years. Had a great time. Did 6 years in the Navy, all carrier work. While in school, I was a BIG naval historian, and at one time, I could tell you everything about every major ship ever built for war. Of them all, the most beautiful, most tragic, was the Yamato. She was BY FAR the largest battleship ever built, and no one to this day knows EVERYTHING about her, most of her plans are long gone, only a few pictures and surviving plans remain. The ship saw limited action for most of WW2, sat hidden in a bay away from American eyes, too valuable to send out. As one of the Emporers last gasps, Yamato was sent out on a suicide mission, same as the Banzai pilots, and they all went down with her. Of all the ships I have ever seen, been on, studdied, I would give nearly anything to have sailed her...what a waste.....
