I'm in the market for a NEW runner bottom to race in njba brackets and to cruise the river with. I love the cole TR series boats and I know their success in dragboat racing, but I can't seem to get a working phone # for cole boats. Are they still in business, and if so do they still mold the TR series boats?
If not, could somebody recommend a manufacturer that builds a hull(T-Deck style) similar to the TR series? Am I stuck w/ trying to find a retired one? HELP!!!!!

Back in the day, JOes Tooling laid up boats for Cole. You may want to call Joe and see if he has the mold.
I do know that he still lays up the Kurtis 500 for Norm Grimes.
JOe # is 818-768-4636

Jim Cole sold the molds and rights to Jeff Clark here in Havasu. Clark moved into a new location to begin production, and promptly shut down....
you might try looking him, or the business up. His shop was called Clark Performance Marine.
Good Luck!

I believe Ron Braaksma's advertisement in the back of HB Magazine indicates that he lays up the Howard T-Deck Runners. You may want to give him a call.

Just a note, look into the Bitz flats they seem to work really well up here in the NW at the drags.

Just out of curiosity from someone who doesn't know........why a Canyon over a Cole?
Also, when did Wayne Mettler stop making the Canyons? Did the succeeding owner build a good boat?
