Good place in Havi for the anniversary dinner?

We went to Krystals on our special day and it was ok, but really in Havi I dont think that there are any really over the top places to go for a really nice anniversary dinner.

It's supposed to be good. One of those throw your peanuts on the floor place like North Woods Inn. My in-laws have been but I haven't. I just thought it might be a nicer environment and it should have some decent steaks for you. Now if you want to take a two hour drive I'm sure we can come up with some good tips for Vegas restaurants.

Horseshoe is a shit hole, don't go there for anything special. Krystals might be good if it wasn't so rowdy. Shugrus is probably your best bet if you're looking for something nice in Havi. Che bones wasn't impressive, but I intend to give it a second chance.

Try Sourdough Lil's next to I-hop, great prime rib.....killer wedge salads....fried ice cream for desert.....just the right atmosphere for you two;) I know Jody will like it

Been to Cha-Bones every time we are in Havasu. Several times with other HB peeps and have ALWAYS had a GREAT meal. Very nice selection and great steaks. Nice wine list too. I always get my steak "Black-Eye" style. 3 Shrimp Scampi on top in a rich Cajun cream sauce. Bon Appetit! :D
Oh yeah. They have a Kansas City strip (that's a bone in New York). My favorite.

I'm not sure if they are doing it this time of year, but if they are, I would take her to Shugrues, and then (if they are doing it) take her on one of the gondola rides in the channel. Looks corny, but the people I know that have done it say it's pretty cool.

I have to agree. And if you like Calamari, theirs is some of the best I have had. Very tender.
Lamb bites on the appetizer menu are another hit. Mini lamb chops good for a couple bites each.
Their hummus has an unbelievable flavor. Just enough zip to it.

Poor Havasu really needs a higher end restaurant.
Stupid name, but Cha-bones is alright. Probably one of the best in Havi.
Shagrus is Ok as well. Make sure you get a res on a Friday or Saturday night. We have waited there with a res during the summer for over an hour. Good food, good service, below par ambiance. My biggest negative with Shagrus is when you sit by the windows its absolutely freezing if the air is cranking. I can handle any kind of heat or cold. My wife is always freezing in there, and I even got a chill.
Hope you have fun... if all else fails, you got Bob's Big Boy or In-n-Out.:D

Shugrue's is a nice place to dine for a special occasion. I would call ahead to get a table with a view, you should time your dinner so that you can see the sunset. Congrats on the Anniversary..
