I took my Fountain 35 Lightning out today to try the new 30p Bravo 4 blade props. They worked well, 2 people, full fuel, ran a solid 85 mph at 4900 rpm.
Picked up about 3 mph over the 28p props and I didn't notice any loss at them bottom.

What were you at before RPM and speed wise ?

If they aren't already labbed then you should lab them. That would pick up about 2-3 more mph and bring your rpms up a little bit to a higher power band. Just my .02

82 mph was the most I could get from the 28P 4 blade Bravo's, the rpm was much higher, but I am new to the boat and still figuring things our, I now know that the drive trim is very critical on rpm, so I may have had the drives up too high on my speed trials with the 28's. I will re test with them.

HI Tom,
No, they aren't labbed, just stock out of the box 30's, I guess that would be the next step. Who does that and what does it cost?
Thanks,
David

Mercury Racing can do the lab finishing. Other independent companies can do lab finishing and the ones I know of that are pretty reputable are Throttle Up (http://www.throttle-up.com/) and BBlades (http://www.bblades.com/). Those 2 will ask you questions about your boat and lab them specifically for your boat. I'm sure other local prop shops do good lab finishing but I don't know of any of them but I'm sure someone else on here does.
