Anybody know about how much it costs per foot to fence in the backyard let's say at 4 foot high?
Any recommendations?

Quality fence is good. No idea on the cost, but we had 300' of 5' privacy link and 150' of 5' link with slats put in last year around $3500

Thanks. Sounds like I can git er dun for a grand or less. Hopefully anyway. Don't want to lose the view or openness but need to trap the kiddies in.

No we would never have a pool at the vacation house. Too expensive when it won't get used that much. I'd rather have a pool at home.
And we are now planning to move somewhere else in 5-10 years to get out of this rat race. So if whoever buys the house has enough money to put in a pool they will have enough for a real wall. I say this because our lot was filled in about 3/4 of the way back. In order for a pool it would need to be filled in all the way and then have retaining walls built that will probably cost more than the pool itself.

Todd was right. Quality Fence is the place. Jeff will go to your place and draw a plan and fax it to you with a quote. Other's were quite a bit more expensive or don't even call you back. I gave them the deposit and he said they are only like 5-7 days out and they do it in one day. When it's done I give them the balance. I don't have the exact quote with me right now but basically was about $1150 for about 107 feet of chainlink around the backyard at 4 feet high with two walk through gates.
