Try Progressive Direct. Mine was good at 723 but I just got my renewal for my fourth year and it dropped 250 to 473. Do it on the website or call though. Going through a broker will cost lots more with Progressive.

This isn't entirely accurate. In a recent review of Progressive's filings, they have identical rates whether through agency or their "direct channel." This is true for Boat, Motorcycle, and Motorhome.
Their auto rates do differ between channels but I have yet to find any consistancy as to which channel is higher.

We went through Deborah J. Miller at State Farm - (928) 854-6693. She got our Conquest insured for a great rate.

I don't know. I went direct because my broker priced Progressive for me and while I was playing around on the internet I found a much cheaper price directly through them. I called my broker and they said to go directly with them that it is more because Progressive has to pay them commissions. That's just my experience anyway.

Went with my State Farm guy in Cali.
$1268 No Lay-Up
They said the AZ guy would be the same. It would be Alex Ross in Havi. He does insure my house there.

Yup! This is who I used too and she gave me a great rate....in fact I'm thinking about switching my house in LHC to her as well.

That's cool. But knowing how many rating variables that company uses, it would be very easy to get a different rate by rating the vessel as a different type, other horsepower, wrong propulsion type, different levels of coverage, ACV versus Agreed Value.....you get the idea.
You're agent probably rated the boat correctly.
