Usually drink Coors Light because that's what's in the fridge, but I prefer either Coors Original or Sam Adams Light (when I'm not drinking Jack and Coke :D )
BTW, I ALWAYS drink the Sammy's on Independence Day

During the day it's
Bud Light.
I've just been educated on another great "true" beer called Chimay. Great stuff if you find a source to buy from. It's not in every grocaery store.
Then when the sun goes down, it's Jack and diet:D

When drinking Chimay, make sure to use the large mouth glass mug that is supposed to be used with it... makes it taste even better. Also, there are two different kinds, one has a lot higher alcohol %

Good call. I drank the lower alcohol content. Two bottles and it felt like at least a 6 pac of anything else. Cost my buddy like 10 bucks a bottle, (20 oz)

St Stanislaus Maybach. From an old recipe used in midevil times by German monks. They would fast every May, so even though they could not eat, they could drink, and so they brewed this beer. VERY good tasting beer, and nearly 8% alcohol.

Ok, for me it depends a lot on the temperature. If it's hot as hell out, nothing beats a cold Corona(lite tasting beer from a hot country, makes sense). If it's cold out, give me a Guiness( cold country, heavy beer). The river is Corona for sure. And BevMo sells Corona in cans!!!.

First and foremost... I love the beer that is FREE!!!!!!! I am not that picky.
We love to mix it up... depending on the event or the crowd we are with.
But the best bang for your buck is totally. Chimay.... and way more alcohol content plus a great flavor.
In the desert I love Mickey's Big Mouth... then the kids can recyle the bottle's too!! ha ha
There are a ton of great one's... to many to bore you with. Everyone here has summarized my hubby's favorites.
I prefer to stick with the mixed drinks because of the bloating factor.
Never the less... ENJOY!:D

There are more than 2 beers from Chimay...
The red is the Dubbel at 7%
the white is the Tripel at 8%
the blue is the Belgian Strong Dark Ale at 9%
I like Stone Pale Ale and lots of other good stuff.
I do drink a ton of Coors Light at the river though because it goes down so easy.
The best place to get good, hard-to-find beer is LoneHill Liquor in Glendora. Liquorama in Upland is great as well.

Hmm I have purposely stayed out of this thread because I was a beer snob...
I am a registered beer judge for competitions and have made my own beer for years (in fact, three taps on fridge at home - currently Tap 1 - Saison, Tap 2 - Triple and Tap 3 - California Common
I also have Mead, couple different versions.. none less than 5 years old (one of which I won a regional competition and just missed qualifiying for nationals). yea I know...
I am now reformed...
But beers I like to drink on a regular basis are:
Fat Tire Amber, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Sam's Lager, BudVar or Pilsner urquell, But lately I have liked a lot of the Belgian beers...
I also like Tecate - but only in the can.
However, the beer I drink the most of now is: Michalob Ultra or Rolling Rock Green light - "Near beer". In the cans for the boat... while friends of mine would hang their head in shame, I have come to embrace the soda water with a little taste. :220v:
MU & RRGL goes good with tomato juice in the morning because neither one really has an off taste and doesn't ruin a good red beer.
Ahh hell.. just bring me a Crown and Soda and call it good...:D

My daily beer is Sierra Nevada. I like the Humboldt Red Nectar a little more, but it's never on sale. And almost any stout.
If I'm not drinking I'll go with Coors Light.
I'm not a fan of skunky beers like Heinekin, Rolling Rock or anything Belgian...
Sierra Nevada is one of my favorites... never tried Humbolt...
Lol.. Skunky is not the beer. Its how its bottled and kept. :)
Brown bottles truly are the only color that stops skunky from happening. Its a reaction with the beer and light. Usually corona, sol, heiny, rolling rock, etc... green and clear bottles. Miller doesn't do it because they put chemicals to stop it...
Now there is a type of beer that might be considered "skunky" but it is really more of a "horsey" smell. But that is proper for the style and is an aquired taste - Lambic beers, which is Belgian.
:D

Kinda the Toyota of beers?
Humbolt Red Nectar has the body and character of Sierra Nevada, a little smoother, nicer aroma, more complex.
Poetry in a bottle...which kinda sucks on the water.
Those are both great beers. I like Sierra a lot but at the same time it's the absolute minimum I will go as far as beer. I would rather not drink, than have to drink Bud or Coors or Miller and all the piss beers.
