Some people have been asking to see some updated pictures of the new boats that we are building. Here they are. Sorry the quality is not the best, but you can see what we are doing.
The hull and deck are bonded together and the transom inlays are complete. The stainless steel rub rail was on back order so it has yet to go on the boat. It should be on shortly. For the engine compartment, we went with a carbon fiber look. The floors and transom are aluminzed carbon veneer and the bilge is black carbon veneer. I love the way it turned out. :) These pictures do not do it justice. This one will have our in house 600/600 complete with a Bravo 1 XR. Should get up and move! Trying to get #1 done by memorial day. #2 is already in the mold and #3 goes in shortly after. :) It is going to be a fun summer!

That boat was in Fullerton last Wednesday going North of Harbor Blvd then turned right and headed up Brea Blvd. The gel looks exceptional.
Congrats on the new boat

For some reason, I look at this boat and a 572 GM crate motor pops into my head for regular production models. It just seems "proper", and easy. TH400 and Casale? And, at around $12,500 - not much more than a replacement 496HO motor. Just throwing ideas out there.
Pretty boat.

I work right on the corner of Brea and Harbor. The boat looks very impressive rollin down the street. What's going in it for power?
Also, was that mold sitting in a parking lot over close to Disneyland in a little industrial complex where they build mini off road trucks?

Pretty boat.
The GM572 is not actually an ideal motor for a boat engine. :( Unfortunately they are setup for street vehicles and their tolerances are set too tight for a boat motor. All of the ones that we have done in the past have had nothing but problems. By the time you get everything all dialed in, you will be well in excess of the $12,500 mark.
Our 600/600 is going to be the upgraded motor in these boats. Each motor is dynoed with all real nice parts. We are going to offer a 1 year warranty on all f our 600's. The price of our 600's (without boat purchase) is $18K complete ready to drop into the boat. That will be with CMI headers, Alternator, P.S. Pump, Raw water pump, wired, etc... We are also going to be offering a 2nd year extended warranty option on the motor for an additional $1K.
When it all comes down to it, the 600/600 is a much better bang for the buck than a 572. :)

Outboards are easy. We could very easily do one right now. Up to this point in time, we have not had any call for them.

Our shop is located in that industrial complex. Newline is about 5 shops down from mine.
