whats up in new mexico

Just got my boat and like to see whats up in southern nm or west tx or eastern az

hola fellow new mexican.
It is hard to beat elephant butte (sp?) luckily you dont have to know how to spell it to go there. On big holiday weekends we head to Caballo lake instead of the butte to avoid the large number or idiots that flock to the butte. The water level is down about 100 ft from it high point which has revealed some unmarked hazards. You have to watch out for those car size rocks that are only 1 foot below the surface in the middle of the lake! And Remember Havasu is only 9 hours away!

There is only one boatable lake in eastern AZ and I won't list it because trust me, you don't want to go there. It's a mud hole. :eek:
