Trying out the new loader in the spectra 20 and testing out Pipesclean's new 21' hallett. If anyone is down for a few beers we will be there from noon until about 4. Probably launch at Marina West run around for a while then end up in the cove.

oh ya! no matter how much other crap I buy I'll always have the spectra. It's really going to get used alot this season - we're going to leave the v-drive in the storage at the river and bring the spectra home. This years agenda will include Powell, Mead, mojave, needles, havasu, and on weekends we can't make the river we will take it out locally on day trips.

yeah i might be taking mine out fri or sat....dont know which day yet though, just wanna run it one more time before i change that big ass 10 quart oil tank haha...what launch you gonna be at? the one on riverside drive or what?

I just noticed you mentioned Rob has a 21 Hallett. Did he pick up a Vector or a 210? What kind of drive/power. Wish I could make it out on Friday, but I'm tied up. Snap some pics and make us all jealous. The weather is going to be kick ass.

I'll post some pics for sure. Pipesclean picked up a late 70's 21 hallett super clean boat, 454, berkley, all the good stuff. Had to drive pretty far for it but well worth the trip.

Hey FB,
I joined the Short Bus Bandits and got a cruiser.
I didn't get a new boat, just new to me. It's a 72 Hallett 210, 468 with a Berkeley. The Previous owner had it since new for over 30 years. He said he used to race in Parker back in the day. It's in great condition, only needs to be buffed out a little. They had new interior and carpet put in two seasons ago and there is not one stress crack on the entire boat. Here are a few pics.

that interior is gorgeous!...i really like the widened right side...never seen that before man.
