I just got this and dont know if it will help but I did complete the survey. It concerns Catalytic Converters for boats. The web site is www.hpboatsurvey.com, you can figure it out from there!! NSF

I filled it out as well.
It pertains to marine motors over 500HP I believe and the last thing all of us performance boaters want is more regulations and restrictions !!

I remember when I registered my boat last year, California sent me some decals that I had to stick next to the ignition key.:( Something about this vessel is known to cause cancer. :D

pretty limited options...apparently boats under 25' don't exist.
I'd hate to walk into a parts store to get a catalytic converter to put on a 409...
They also don't leave a provision for mechanical fuel injection so I'm proclaiming exempt status right now. :D
btw, what kind of emissions does an alcohol motor emit?

I'm not even sure how it will be possible to put a catalytic in a boat since the whole principle of how they work is to raise the exhaust temp inside it to burn off excess fuel in the exhaust, and if you were to water cool one with the rest of your exhaust it would extremely hinder its performance to reduce emmisions i would think, and if you didnt water cool it your boat would burn up
