So im determined to finally go to Ming for the races. I haven't been since IHBA was at Puddingstone.
What's the deal for spectators? Can I watch from the comfort of my own boat? What time for sat and sun? Where's the best place to watch? Should i camp? give me some details!

Ming is definetly worth checking out. Its a smaller lake that is primairly used for water skiing and drag boat racing. Spectating is nice because you are on the edge of the shore and can watch every thing without dealing w/ the barriers and crowds of other events. It usually starts between 8 and 9Am and runs well into the afternoon depending on how many boats are competing. As far as your boat is concerned unless you are competing, it cannot be on the water during the event weekend. I have never camped at ming but believe you are allowed if you buy a permit. There are quite a few hotels within twenty minutes of the track. There is also excellent food to eat at the track. Hope this helps, if you have more question ask away or PM Busby.

Wiskey River II is gonna be there making at least 2 passes getting ready for Red Bluff ... too cool. Rex will not only be flipping our burgers, but will take a break to make a couple of 230+ MPH passes! Awesome! :D

455 rocket ming is very good for spectators less crowd easier to watch,and does cost alot less too,also bring your own chair i recomend them fold up type give to kid to hold also more the better :idea: beer cans fit very good inside of them:idea:

a show and shine, but is there room in the pits for me park my boat? I've got it
up for sale and extra exposure's not going to hurt! If so what does it cost to
pull into pits? Maybe one of the race directors could answer this instead of Jr.
