I asked my Dad about the boat he had when I was a kid. It was a V-drive and had crawley (sp?) injectors and cam. Was clocked at 125. Does anyone know if these are still around?

You mean Crower injectors?. Crower sold the injector dealio to Ron's in 1990 and he has one set left and he's not making them anymore but there's a lot of used one's out there, Kinsler also makes a similar set!. Crower is still in business and still produces cams and a variety of quality engine parts!..I run Crowers and they are bitchin!.

If it was a flat bottom, it was much like the Pro Stock sprint (circle) boats of today. Up to 500 inches, gas or alcohol, and mostly injected, some 2X4 carbs. Top speed around 127, and exciting to watch them trade paint in the corners...Moneypitt
