I was going to comment on some of the rediculous parts of his ad, but there are so many!

Here is my favorite part:
BUILT WITH THE IDEA OF ADDING AN 871 BLOWER AND NITROUS AND STAYING TOGETHER AT 10,000 RPM
BORED 30 OVER,NOW A 460 WITH 10.5:COMPRESSION
LMAO!!!! :D

The sad thing is somebody will believe this retard and expect it to go that fast.

by far the best part of his add.
THE ENGINE WAS BLUE-PRINTED AND BALANCED AND BUILT WITH THE IDEA OF ADDING AN 871 BLOWER AND NITROUS AND STAYING TOGETHER AT 10,000 RPM...
you aint putting all that on top of 10.5:COMPRESSION.
hahahahahahahahahhahaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Still, if you ignore the text, even if it is more or less what he says it's not REALLY bad. Be a fair deal around 5K, No?

What heads should I put on it, I get 500 DD horsepower out of it with 990's. :D

Maybe it runs on alcohol? Then maybe the blower is possible. The cam wont work though.

Look at the way the plug wires come off the distributor that cracks me up.

Those aren't any old yellow wires, they are "ACCELL 8.8MM IGNITION WIRIN" How else could he get 800HP from a 460 bbc.
Yes, I also love this forum.

ummmm does this make sense?
THE OIL CHANGED ABOUT EVERY 15 HRS.
but then i saw this
.SHE HAS A FRESH[10HRS] CHEV. BIG BLOCK WITH EVERYTHING!!
well let me get this straight, it has 10 hours on it and the oil gets changed every 15 hours, hmmmmm:idea: :D
and for a 775-800hp engine, i was thinking it would be more ummmmm organized:D

he obviously spent sooo much money on the engine that he couldn't afford transom caps for the exaust and had to stick with the original bells...or maybe thats a speed thing:idea: ...can't believe i never thought of that!!!

I don't no much about boats yet. How fast do these boats usually go?

I agree with thatguy (above poster)
It's a shame. It's actually a pretty nice little ride. He could just present it for what it really is and do o.k. Not the $7000 he thinks he'll get...........but still pretty good.
Instead..............he's gotta be a liar.

Did anyone notice the "Hurst" shifter handle he has put on it? I won't even start about his "high performance engine build"
If you insist on lying about a boats speed at least make it believable.

Nuthin says performance like dual vacuum secondary carbs.
There's also an MSD sticker plastered on the back. If I ain't mistaken, I'm looking at one of them POS Mallory unilites. Probably accounts for a good 100HP or so I bet :D

I said it before, I need to list my ride on e-bay and get a quick 20mph more.

Hmmn.......AZMandella runs a set of vacuum secondaries on a tunnelram (flattie v-drive) and that thing hauls ass. I watched him run last weekend and he's definitely in the low to mid 90 mph range (at least).
I run a POS Mallory unilite and it works great. Then again it's only been in the boat for 9 trouble free years...........so maybe it'll take a shit on me.

Its like he read a bunch of BS and took it straight out of a book, this guy has got to be a used car salesman :D hes got 3 bids already haha

Nothing against you, I've had nothing but touble with unilites...and I've had a lot of em. And in the context of the subject, the vac. carb thing just ain't selling me, not to mention it ain't my personal choice on a tunnel setup.
Incidently, squirtcha, I'm running A single vac. carb AND a POS Mallory point dist. But I ain't claiming the performance this guy is.;)

I think it's actually a good looking boat. Like what was already stated, If the guy would just be realistic with the numbers, one could have a bit more faith in the other things he says.

I think the bid is about $2800.00 now, reserve not met. You know, regardless of the sellers BS, if someone scores this for around 5K they will be getting what looks like a fun ride. In fact, once sorted out and fact seperated from fiction, all of a sudden someone will be a "Lucky B*sturd" on this same thread. Probably will be offered in the spam with a realistic description and everyone will like it.
Shame the guy is an idiot, or a car salesman, but someone will get a fun boat. And lets face it, a real racer knows better, and 70mph IS 100mph to anyone who's never done it.

800HP http://www.mwstangs.com/forums/images/smilies/nonono2.gif
Maybe 550 HP if there is the magic juice in that motor. With those spring pressures he is floating the valves at 4800rpm.
Yeah - the wire loom job is trick ;)

LOL, I've seen several boats on Ebay recently with a Hurst T-handle shifter in it. :rollside:
