My mom being the clever one that she was told me they were "Meat cookies." I still love them.
Before you go calling me nuts on the next one.. Everyone that has tried one (with the exception of Stacy) has loved them.
Ritz Cracker, lil Peanut Butter, dab of Miracle whip on top of the peanut butter, and a small slice of pickle (doesn't really matter what kinda pickle there all good).
Makes a great snack.. Still love them.

I guess I was a weird kid, since everything that liked as a kid I still eat now.
Soft Boiled Eggs, Steak Tar-Tar, Oysters on the 1/2 Shell, Calimari, Munedo w/ extra tripe, and the list goes on & on.
Used to get so pissed off as a kid when we'd go to someone's house for dinner and they'd feed us kids 'kid friendly food' (most often over cooked, cold, crapy, or all the above) while the adults got real food!
Even worse when we'd go to Mammoth or Havasu, as the adults went out and the kids got a bucket of chicken or a pepperoni pizza :yuk: :yuk: :yuk: -
Note to parents: Not telling you how to raise your chrildren or what to feed them, but there are other toppings besides PEPPERONI

Instant gratification......
go to the store, go to the refrigerated section, get some ready made cookie dough...I usually get Chocolate chip.....take home, stick in fridge....for a quick treat, go to cookie dough, take a tablespoon or so, put it on a plate, nuke it for about a minute, this will take a little time to perfect, all micros are a little different....cook to soft cookie, of a little doughie...you choose, top off with ICE COLD MILK.....YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

After reading the terms of a life insurance police I began feeding my ex-husband deep fried sticks of butter wrapped in bacon served in a bowl of gravy.
You must have read that straight out of the Chicagoland cookbook.. One could also add some pork sausage to the gravy. under the gravy would be chillimac & cheese. Ya... we have alot of skinny folks around these parts. :D I'm always leary around others when the feed bell rings.. And I tend to keep my arms close.
We used to have some kind of sour apple tree in the Backyard when I lived in seattle. Pick a few apples chop em up add sugar and cinmon in a bowl make a mini pie crust and about 20 minutes a delicous homemade mini apple pie..
I also liked to make the giant pancakes.. the kind you baked in the oven.. good stuff.

For 500... We kids used to try to buy & eat all of these candy bars, not because we liked them particularly but because we thought the story was cool... Here goes...
Mr. Goodbar took Mrs. Butterfinger behind the Powerhouse and laid her on the Rocky Road. Mr. Goodbar stuck his Tootsie Roll in her Uno. By the time Mr. Lifesaver could get there it was too late, she had already had Three Musketeers and a Babe Ruth, and all she could say was O' Henry, that was Good & Plenty...
Stupid kids...

I might be alone on this... (Red neck type)
Well my Mom & Dad (* kids) would make Corn Bread.
After we had it for like 4 days we would crumble it up in a bowl (Like cereal) and then sprinkle sugar on it.
That was our cereal most of the time.
Or we would have cinnimon flavored LIFE Cereal....
Whatever!
