Anyone know about the three boats that were sunk at Lake Pleasant this weekend?
I think one was a Malibu wakeboarding boat upside down in Humbug.
I believe one was Sanger Alleycat that looked like it smashed into the rocks by the eagle preserve.
The other was right by the ten lane, looked like an old I/O.
What's the deal?

We were out on our friends pontoon...it got pretty hairy, ducked back into a cove and had to keep driving in circles (anchor wouldn't hold for chit) about 45 minutes and it was over but heard lots of distress calls on the radio.

I was on the way home from work on the Road King when the storm hit. Those wind gusts almost took me out a few times. (will be cleaning the bike for 2 weeks) We had a 50mph gust at Sky Harbor. I was at Pleasent last weekend, and was thinking about going out on Sat. Glad I had to work instead.:jawdrop:

The day was great until about 5p, the wind started blowing hard i would say about 30-35mph or so. it was a pain in the a$$ to load up on the 10 lane with at that time and that wind, and drunk of course; 3rd time was charm though :D Havi looked awesome. We couldnt find a room available so decided to stay in town; Glad everyone came back in one piece from the run.

I heard some were lost a Roosevelt as well. I'll bet you there were some 5' to 6' rollers and white caps out there. I've been up in the white mountains on the water and in a storm. Those lakes are ponds, and they get nasty 2'-3' white caps on them.

it was pretty hairy for about an hour back in humbug. a group of us decided to stay anchored there and wait it out. nowhere to go anyhow. boats ended up covered in mud and some bruised arms trying to hold the boats apart.

We saw the storm coming and tried to make it to 10 lane from humbug cove.
I think my boat is a good size, and I was freaking scared.
My girl said that she thought she was on an episode of "the deadliest catch" or something..
I could only immagine what the smaller boats where going through..
When we got to 10 lane, there was police and a few medics etc along with the emergency helicopter

This could be part of the problem:idea:
