My white interior needs a good cleaning. I'd like to try the Vinyl Sauce again, however I can't seem to find it and need it quick. Isn't there a distributor here on the boards??
For the people that have used it, does it take off the "finish" of the vinyl??? The shine?? Does it leave a build up??
Pros/Cons????
Thanks!!

It works great and they also have the Conditioning Sauce to put on after. Does not leave a build up. You can get it either at boatbling.net or you can go over to the Boat Bling section here on the boards and order it. You can alos PM ROLN20s here on the boards.

Vinyl Sauce works awesome!! Just used it yesterday. It took off some black grease that we had got on the seats somehow. Makes the seats look really clean. You can get a hold of Rollin'20's to buy some.

I ordered it from Patrick directly and had it delivered to my house in a couple days.
I hasve used both the cleaner and the protectant on my boat and have been very happy with it this far.

Sorry to bring this up but I have to....Everytime I use the vinyl cleaner on my vinyl my seats become covered with brown spots. Why is this happening? It just creates more work for me. It apparently is not on the same level as the exterior cleaner which I love.

Been using vinyl Sauce for almost a year. Cleans better than anything I've used, very easy to use (just spray on and wipe off) and it makes vinyl look like new. No build up or cons about it. Great product.
Ultra Custom Boats in Corona, on Maple and the 91, should have it

Never heard of anyone else having this problem. I dillute Vinyl Sauce about 8 to 1. Is is possible that you've used a spray bottle that had something else it in. Vinyl Sauce has little to no color, and no brown for sure. I would contact Patrick (Roln20s).

Vinyl Sauce works awesome! I even used it to get sap from a juniper tree off of my interior.
Diluting it down may help, I recall that it was too strong for a while.....
I'm sure Patrick will explain.

DILLIGAF, we had the same problem with what almost looked like rust spots on our upholstery from using the vinyl sauce. Contacted patrick about it. He had other people with the same issues and was having a chemist look into it. He said to dilute it more. Since we started diluting it more, we have had no problems. Also, the sun bleached out the spots. Still unsure of what causes it, so we'll just keep diluting it and continue using it. Cleans very well, and doesn't leave any residue. We use it every trip out.

OK...So I am not the only one that has had this problem then.Yes, the sun does eventually take it away but that should not occur in the first place.
It is in the bottle from them so it has never had anything else in the bottle. I never heard that it should be diluted anyway......
I have a PM and will try to see what they have to say about this.

No, you were apparently not the only one. We also were not aware that it needed to be diluted. I think that was a suggestion by boatbling once they started getting complaints. I have to say it was very disturbing when we first saw the spots. Not even magic eraser would take them out. Like I mentioned, no other issues since we started diluting though. Hopefully it stays that way. They seem to be very proactive in solving any issues that arise with their product. Haven't had any issues with their other products and use them regularly.

I also had the brown spots but there is some kind of bug out at the lake and river that leaves those little brown poop spots.
They go away after they are exposed to sunlight.

Thanks for the information. About a year ago, on our second order (approx May 2006) we experienced about half a dozen people or so that brought this to our attention, including myself who experienced it once on my new DCB. It was an urgent issue that was addressed quickly. Three conclusions have been established:
1) There was a mix up with the chemist and two times the standard amount of die (pinkish color) was included in the mixture. If a spot was not wiped entirely, a little residue would be left. In the chemist shop - we could not duplicate the issue. Good news- it will come out in the natural sun light.
2) The product was safe, but so strong, we highly recommended reducing the product for a few months to come- you should have received a notice in your order that contained Vinyl Sauce. As of now, we have only experienced this during about a 6 week period of time (May-June 2006). You can dilute up to 10 to 1 - yes, its that strong but the product was not an issue, it was the die. The die content has been reduced since it has nothing to do with the quality of the product.
3) As a company, all Vinyl Sauce quarts are now pre-diluted 4 to 1 with distilled water. Yes, you can still dilute it if you want.
Some customers (including my gf) likes to spray the Vinyl Sauce in a damp micro fiber towel and just wipe and rub in one motion- no issues have been reported.
If you have received a Vinyl Sauce quart since last June and still have found this issue- please contact me ASAP on my cell at 602-312-4550 or my email at patrick@boatbling.net. I will ensure your issues are taken care of - its my guarantee.
Thanks for all of the great support from our customers, and anyone that has any questions or issues, please don't hesitate to call me. Our guarantee has not and will not change - 100% money back guarantee.
Happy Boating.
Patrick
