Just curious, how much is insurance on a boat like this?

You won't pay a dime, 'cuz you can't get it. J/K, very sweet looking boat.

Insurance is not cheap, I pay $1,500 per year, but have had the policy for years. A new policy with a GOOD insurance policy will run about $2,500 - $3,000 with a clean record.

Wow, that extra whacker sure adds a lot on the insurance aspect. Thanks for the info. That's one hell of a boat there.

the insurance is what makes the twin smaller daytonas lose value or make harder to sell, you might want to try and sell the motors seperate from the hull, i know thats a pain but know people who have done it. people will buy that hull and just put a single 300 on it, just my .02. otherwise that is a killer deal for this boat with that kind of power on it, good luck with the sell!!!

I thought about taknig one of the motors off and selling it seperate, but...

Bump, looking for reasonable offer... I know the insurance is high, but this is a good deal for this type of boat. Someone could remove a motor and run one with a spair, and or sell one, this would make the insurance much cheaper.

I am surprised this boat has not sold. I have kept an eye on this boat since you bought it a few years back. It is absolutely one of my favorite boats I have seen on the internet. It is my wife's favorite boat as well, and I have shown her a lot of boats in cyber space. I wish I could pull the trigger, but a home on the lake with my 19' Daytona out the back door is more important to me right now. If the timing were better, I would be all over this rig and figure out the insurance one way or another.
Bad A** boat Mike....the price is a steal.
