lots of bugs, we backed out of the upgrades at work. Go back to XP for awhile until they get them all fixed.... I'm running Vista at home and I'm going to downgrade.... Good luck just my 02cents of 16 years in the field..

So you're saying to wipe a fresh pc and load XP? Maybe I should just load linux and be done with it.:D

I love Linux. I tried it because I wanted to play the popular games and I continue to run it for the excellent end user support.

I run linux on both of my boxes but I do have the option of dual boot for xp use for certain programs. I do like the use and ease of linux vs windows.

Pussy. :D
I run a Wild Packets protocol analyzer on an XP laptop. I'm plenty happy with it. Every other system I use is either Linux or UNIX. It would be really tough to go back.
I dropped dual boot a few years ago when I picked up a copy of vmWare. I used to use an XP vmWare session for Photoshop but now I don't even use that. Linux all the way, baby.
... but if anyone asks me if they should run Linux, I say 'Hell no!'. ... and you know why. :D

Did you get it to work? At this point there aren't very many Vista gurus, but I've got mine working. Give me a shout -585.424.0486

If you switch to Classic views it will look just like XP. Most hardware management is still through device manager.

OSX is BSD based, which makes it better than windows.
