I was talking in the channel with a neighbor the other day and he says that while pasties are not against current laws, flashing while wearing pasties is considered indecent exposure? Anyone got the legal on this situation?

Pasties would be legal to not get an indecent exposure ticket, but the act of flashing could be considered lewd?????

I was speaking with cop out there last year outside of CC and he said that pasties are legal as long as they cover the pink parts but flashing with pasties can get you a ticket. There is a difference. He also said that when you are on the open water full boob exposure is ok. It's if you are on land or your boat is touching land that it is illegal. I wouldn't try that floating through the channel though.

Over here (the cool coast) the water coppers have told me that:
-Being nude on your boat is not a crime. Your boat is your home & you can cruise nekkid.
-Being nude on secluded beaches is O.K., not really leagal, but OK if you are not bothering anyone.
-Nuditiy for "shock" value will land you in the pen for the weekend. Flashing, pole dancing, flogging the ole dolphin and the like will get you locked up (but I have not seen anyone get busted for this stuff)
On the Chesapeake we have a few nudist clubs that meet up on certain public beaches & noone seems to bother them. These folks do everthing nekkid, water ski, jet ski, parasail... usually not good.
We also have a bunch of water festivals with tons of flashing & even sex going on. I have never seen anyone get locked up & the cops are there in force. The USCG is usually around & they just kinda watch & throw beads.
We never see pasties over here... sounds like an open market...
