This just in...We hear fathers day weekend at CFW is the palce to race, all the Top Dogs including "G" and "J" will be there.
Rumor has it Billy B and a few of his faster comrades will be heading north. Finaly a showdown pitting the northern boys -vs- southern boys setteling this issue of who is the "Top Dog" once and for all.
It would appear though there has been a hired gun to do some of the driving chores. While we don't know much about this driver yet, We were able to sneak in and snap a few pictures at the there last (top secret) test & tune secession. Late that day our radar gun clocked him making a pass of 162.59 mph. :D We believe the driver is a NHRA Winston Top Fuel Champion and word has it he lives around the fresno area. His identity hasen't been confirmed as of yet. Although he may be on these boards.

Also rumored is a 5 to 6 lap exibition K-Boat race, however we have learned the newly "Hired Gun" may have a problem with making u-turns at 100 mph and heading back though the soup as he is used to going real fast in a straight line and shutin-er down. We shall see???
We have tried to reach Billy B for a comment about this rumor and reached his assistant she explained he was attending an executive power lunch and no comments would be made at this time.
So we'll have to wait and see what happens at CFW this fathers day weekend!!!!
Let us know how many boats will be attending so we will know how much fuel will be required to snatch up and take home the "Top Dog" title.
BTW, is it a real big trophy???

i grew up around that guy billy b. I wonder if he remembers me putting a salamander in his cocktail at the crazyhorse in havasu or the time i gave him dog shit wrapped up as a wedding gift and returning from his honeymoon to an unpleasant fly infested gift. Anyway he used to have the baddest flatty back in the day. alls i remember is it was a green k boat and my dad had to tow him through the channell cause it would idle too fast,may have been on alcohol. those were the good ole days when you could run a 19ft. boat at havasu and drink buckets from the nautical inn all day and never have a problem.....looks like gary selzi in the flatty?

Is that true about Billy B and some of his faster buddies heading up north to show you northerners how to drive, J/K. If so, count me in, I go to the regattas with Billy and those guys. I won't be one of his faster buddies, that is unless, I get the injection set-up in time. Their's only so much you can do with carbs.

Last time we were up at Chowchilla he was there. We were pitted next to TAH Showtime and he sat in it. They asked if he wanted to take it for a spin and basically said F*CK that. Next pass they turned it over.

I bought it and I can assure you it wasen't 55k, more like 62k cash took it from him. Well worth the money. I got such a smokin deal I couldn't pass on it. The only thing Billy's drivin now is a Coleman/McGregor 12' aliminum fishing boat with a 9.5 hp clip on!!! I'll bet he'll have it hopped up in no time at all. Certainly be a sight to see.
Never hurts to have several boats ya know...

Acceptance, the hunt is going good. I found one for a great deal up north, a fellow Hot Boat guy. If all goes well I'll get it in mid January. After we bolt the injection on, I'm going to try and sell my carbs and buy a super mag, then a bigger blower, then a... well you get the idea. That should get us down the river a little quicker, we'll still look like a tug boat next to Billy B and Roger, but it's a start.

The ol hydro has seen every inch of cfw ,been to the top of the river at new molines, every bit of san antiono, all of clearlake, 1/4 of berryessa,down the strip at ming,at needles up to the avi casino and down to the gorge, thats about 25+ miles for cfw boys and foom the dam at parker to the casino at the other end with zoomies to boot

Livin on the edge, The latest "turn coat" on the boards. Will you be at the CFW on the 1st? If so, there is a pretty big line of flats that are waiting for you. I saw you at Berryessa a couple months back. I will reserve judgement on what i saw and just say that there is a long line of flats waiting for you. Since you have jumped ship to the Socals, you will not receive any of the Nocals food, warmth nor hospitality and you will be pitted in the mud. :D

JBG,whats up?.Got to love picking on lowater,he's such a piece of work :D Have you ever driven a Biesemeyer?I told Jonh Morgan that he will totally fall in love the way the handle.I took Rod Corning for a ride a couple of years ago,was funny watching him cringe when rollers were coming at us at a high rate of speed,when we were done he said if i knew then what i know,I'd gone K racing.Amazed at how stable it was. :cool:
