I would say yes. Capping is pretty much a big gelcoat repair. It is probably possible after the build, but more costly for sure.

I've got to hand it to you... You went with something totally different from the norm, and it payed off, big time... The boat looks unbeliveable, and original... I wouldn't be surprised to see some similar gels like this starting to pop up after looking at your boat.. John and company really have good eyes for these things... Congrats...
