We took approximately 75 pics and some video. Mostly trying to let everyone see the current status of the water levels...

Okay...Here's the scoop. Just got back from running the CP out at CFW. Water is up approx. 20' since 2 weeks ago when I was out there. Asked in the store...water is currently rising 5" per day (with no rain yet). Was told of a 36' increase OVERNIGHT 1 night last December, due to a mass release by Rollins. Expect that to happen again between now and New Years. As for the folks that want to come early, South Shore WILL be open on the 28th. I was asked to let everyone know that arrives that early to PLEASE go to North Shore and pay the fees and DEFININTELY close the gate behind ya. We took lotsa pics and some video....will post them by tonight. Oh yeah, I almost got tossed (was halfway out) eek!

I wished the moving shots were less blurry though :( And the water got rough quick today...seems like the fisherman decided to come over to watch me run :D and in the process, it really stirred up the water eek! And then the phantom rollers that kept coming at me from the bridge....don't know where in the hell those were coming from but they kept coming

But them fisherman's boats made enough waves today to get it all up on the shore...for now. I figure that all the boats runnin' up there in the 4 days before the 1st might clear it out a bit :D

Hey Sangster, we will try and get up to CFW earlier in the week before New Years and see if we can clean it up a bit. Just talked to Gary at CFW, he's going to mark off a 1/4 mile and mark any low spots, and we will check the lake for any wood afloat. He also said he had talked to Bill Davis about setting up lights and stuff for a bracket race later in the year. He would like some feed back on this on the 1st. 2 day race, with a BBQ and Band.

Did you buy that boat with the motor or less motor i was interested in it also but my wife found out about it before i made up my mind(was going to use as a river racer).It sure is a very clean boat though.

Don't have the time to build another motor right now. :( And the pictures just don't do this boat justice. I couldn't believe how much nicer the boat was in person rather than in pictures....I had to have it.

Come on up to CFW on New Years and ya can see it run. It MAY be up for sale again in the near future. I'm keeping an eye on a certain racing organization and what happens in the near future...I may end up going back to a V-drive for racing purposes.

I'm keeping an eye on a certain racing organization and what happens in the near future...I may end up going back to a V-drive for racing purposes.I really wish i can make it but i dont have the time to drive up there midweek.I really enjoy the lakes that dont have 24+ boats runnin around.We had a house in merced and use to hit mcclure,turlock,yosemite lake,and others in the early 80s.I hear you guys meet up fathers day and if so i will be up for that and i can take a flatty(kinda my toyboat now) since i dont own a jet boat anymore(i bought a family boat)21 ft open bow eliminator. Ilive in orange county so it is a drive for me.
