whats the difference between a casale v drive and a velvet drive? and if a boat has a velvet and it be converted to a casale without alot of work ?

Velvet Drive usually refers to the Borg Warner boat transmission that allows forward, nuetral and reverse engine power transferred through the v-drive to the prop. Unless, they made a v-drive box by this name that I am unaware of. They made a regular and a heavy duty #72C if memory serves.
