The trailer hub went bad as she brought the boat home to Hesperia. Now i am out looking for a replacement before the river trip next weekend.
It is 5 on 4 3/4 wheel spacing.Problem is i have the hub but not the boat trailer, and there was nothing left of the hub. Damn women drivers!
Anyone care to guess the size of the spindle or ID of the bearnings? It has a late model Mastercraft Ski boat on it with a single axle. Thanks

Call MasterCraft??
Pick up a new hub and many different bearings...Return what you dont use?
I have a hub 5 on 4 3/4 here with bearings I could measure or get munbers off of But it is from a dual axel trailer?
Your best bet is to have someone look at the trailer where it sits and measure or pull the other side.....
SIDE note IF the hub is that bad off You might need a new spindle also??

You ask for help, but your confusing...where the hell is the trailer? Dont you have it? How did you get the hub? Who made the trailer, look at the ID tag nameplate. People are not gonna be able to guess what size hub you have, and yes soemone said the spindle may be bad, if the hub is in as bad of shape you are describing the spindle is probobly bad, and the axle is shot.
Since the boat is made back east (I think) you may need to contact them for part numbers.
You can repalace the entire axle for under $150.

There's a 99% chance that the hub you need is for a 1 3/8" X 1 1/16" spindle.
About forty bucks complete with bearings.
