Hell I should go catch you some of the monsters that hang in our lakes:eek: You'd think they were ocean bugs:)

My wife's boss has a source down in Sacramento that he goes and picks them up from once a year for a big Cajun cook he does every summer. The are excellent. I don't know if they ship, but I'll watch the thread and if you need the name and # I will get it for you tomorrow.
He does the whole deal, gator tail from Florida, Crawdads, Turtle Soup,
all w/Cajun spices he gets from some joint in Louisiana. Makes me salivate just a-thinkin' on it.:D

The New Orleans Fish Market, 2212 W. Vernon, corner of Arlington, Los Angeles, CA. (323) 298-9738.
Fresh seafood from Louisiana, including crawfish (in season) and blue crabs; hot sausage, smoked sausage, tasso, pickle meat, plus prepared bisques and etouffees to go. Also po-boy bread, Camellia red beans, cane syrup ... just about everything you need!
bring your gun its in the hood. I've had them from here before they were good.

Talk to Henoch over in Compton District. He did a couple huge crawdad parties at my Dads garage. He has a great connection. Call me if you do not know who I am taking about and I will set you up..

I usually just go to a pond on one of my ranches. Not too big or a big quanity but enough for like 2-3 people.

Call these guys up.

These guys are the best in the NW part of La, and can most likely help you find a place that ships direct or at least point you in the right direction.
The premiums here (small lobsters) run 1.90/lb, while the regulars are 1.50/lb. Hope you find what you need at a decent price. If you need some boil recipe's...let me know!

 Try Tony's Seafood (225-357-9669) in Baton Rouge, La. They ship worldwide, you won't be dissappointed. You better do it soon since the season is almost over. Try their seasoning, just dump and boil, pretty good stuff.
