Being the good friend that I am, I will make sure your boat gets run up and down the lake while you are working on your friends house. Oh yeah, I will need a stocked cooler for the channel:D

Matt, know a guy out here that runs a Bobcat that depending on how much work the guy has to do, could be hired to do it for less then the rental if it's not something that would take all day.
If you need his number, let me know. By the time you figure in the rental, the damage he'll do, and the lost time drinking, it should make sense to pay someone else.

Do you need someone to operate it or does your friend know how? I have a few numbers for owner/operater bobcat service in LHC. I guess I should have read Rick's post first.

Matt,
either United or Sunstate. The Bobcat dealer there is Larson Equipment.

I will ask him if he knows how to operate it. I just assumed he did, but I will ask.
Thanks!

Anyone can make em move and dig a hole within a short time. It took me a full day on the one I bought to get the hang of actually doing anything to proper grade.

He just wants to move some landscape rock around. I don't think he's digging any holes.

Big rocks? If they are not to big a hoe with a thumb for the bucket would likely work better for that? Now those are a bugger to get some finess on! We did my buds yard and eneded up renting the hoe it was more nimble

Get an acct. with Sunwest Rentals. There is one down by the freeway in Yucaipa. Once you have the acct., you can rent anything you want and they have a yard in Havasu

My wife would tend to disagree with you as rrrr's pic proves :D She calls all my ruts "features".
" I'm going out to do some yard work"
" Oh great..more features" :D

Rented one years ago. Was backing down a pretty steep driveway with a bucket full up high. Hit the brakes, and flipped the focker backwards like a stinkgug. Had to call the rental company to have it flipped back up. Moral of the story, don't drink and drive bobcats. :D
