The "attached to your boat" thread got me thinking. Well my wife and I are pretty new to the boating world so ours is not that old (hoping to see some real cool old stuff in this thread) but here is ours.
2005 Moomba Outback with a 325hp Indmar. Yep, we owned a "roll bar" boat..LOL:D
What a great boat. I remember the first time we took it out, I was soooo fricken scared of messing somthing up. We sure had a lot of good times on that baby. We put 33 hrs on it in less than 5 months. :D Best part about that thing was we got more for it than we paid for it new, including tax:eek:

I looked at that boat while it was at Magic in Corona. They pulled the motor and put a stock one in it. They said the original was to much motor for the boat. It was a sweet boat!

My first boat I bought in 1995. It was a 1964 Glasspar with a 1974 Mercury Thunderbolt 500 (50hp). It was a great boat! I paid $500 for her, and my 81 Toyota 4x4 could tow it. And it came with 2 new jerry cans :D Used to take it to the lake 10 times a year, and it towed a skier just fine. Max speed was 28 mph, bottom waxed, motor trimmed, and no cool box. Reliable as the day is long, one day we killed the battery while listening to the stereo so we wrapped the ski rope arround the pully, gave it a yank and she started right up. I sold it 99 when I moved to San Jose, to an old fisherman. He still has it, and says it runs like a champ still. :D

wasn't a boat , it was an amphibian :) . Straight six engine twin props , with a plow that made it fun to run into the water at speed :D . The two black lenses were infrared lights for night vision .

This is one of my favorite shots in my 1972 Mandella with a blown 350 sbc. I bought the boat in 1992 with no motor and it had never been rigged. I like this shot as the tach is straight up at 4K and the gps speedo is straight up at 60 mph - and lots of throttle left! These types of boats are the pure breeds of the ***boat world...not something off of a show room floor.

Went digging thru the drives and found it. 1976 Tahiti Tiger 460 Ford, Berk JC. Damn fun boat even though I'm sure it rode as rough as the flatbottom. The more years that go by, the smoother I remember the ride being. :D

If it was a closed bow 29' Wizard, then it would have been me, it was the only one they made with that design to date. There was another 26' Sleek they did that was an open bow that had the same side design, however the windshield was painted black and it was an open bow. That boat changed owners 3 times in the 1 1/2 years I owned my 29.
