Has anyone been to Pyramid Lake?

I am thinking of going on Sunday, I have heard that the water was very low.

:D Just the opposite:rolleyes: went yesterday and the highest I have seen it:D
we were there before 10 :idea: got right on the lake:D but the lot was full when we left at 3:30:sqeyes: the ramp was as much fun as site 6:D

What he said. The line was about 25+ deep waiting to get in at about 2:30 when we left. Mostly lake lice though:yuk:

Ok I've been to Pyramid and Castaic during weekdays but never during weekends. On weekends aren't these lakes like Chuckie Cheese for waverunners? I know the Deputies in charge of Pyramid and they have some interesting stories and say it happens every weekend. Have you guys been during the week its really nice and quiet and you don't have idiots driving everywhere...I would like to see the launch ramps on weekends tho...lol

I have been both weekends and during the week, I only go to Pyramid during the week, Way to many A holes for me, Castaic the Lice are contained to a corral,
Castaic isn't bad other than an occasional rude Green flake ranger Bass boat pushing his way to the dock....

Pyramid can be a mess on the weekends since the jetski's aren't confined to an area. Castaic isn't too bad. Since they have multiple ramps, the wait isn't that long. Just be careful on Castaic because they do not allow alcohol in the park or on the lake. On a weekend, the sherrif is constantly coming back into the cove looking for people drinking alcohol. If you intend to bring alcohol, be very careful.
