???? On The Top Loader Casale?????

Along with the rest of my troubles I changed the oil in my Top Loader Casale. I filled it to the brass drain plug on the back side. After running it I found a large puddle of gear oil under the box. I removed the seat to find oil had shot out the little oil hole in the top of the BOX....
Can anyone tell me if its supposed to be filled that full??

Dan, The oil level in pretty much ALL v-drives is half way up the BOTTOM gear!! You
will find a oil level plug on the engine side of the gear box.

Ok thats where its filled to.
