I am looking for someone to fix the broken skeg on my Volvo outdrive and I don't really want to travel too far.

If you can take it off, Gotta-Hav-It prop shop in Moreno Valley can fix it.
Phone #951) 242-5041, he's replaced a couple of skag's for me plus repairs on prop's.
