we used to get those back in Hesperia, we'd be out back enjoying a nice sunny day, look to the east and BAM...barely had enuf time to get in the house and close the windows...20 second later it was gone and there was an inch of sand on the patio...OH WELL:(

Used To Live In The Desert Hills Area On Central & Carefree And We Would Watch The Monsoons Come Over The Rim. We Had About 15-25 Min To Get Everything Inside The House Or It Would Be Taken Away By The Wind Or Floods. Wow What A Sight It Was. Wish I Was Still There!
