Come on............we need the 'rest-of-the-story'! Found meaning you wondered into a warehouse, saw it and bought it? Love to hear about 'barn-finds'..............and we need LOTS more pics! Power, drive, interior and the WS registration? Must be a longer story than you posted.

The story is we went to LA about a month ago to look at a schiada for sale. On the way home stopped by Teague marine. We started talking to Bob Teague and he said he had a schiada for sale out back. Bob rigged the boat and built the motor for a guy in 1998, he ended up moving to wisconsin a year ago with the boat. I guess there was no where to use the boat back there so he shipped it back to Bob to sell for him. It sat in Bobs warehouse for 9 months before we saw it. Then bought it last tuesday!! PS my 76 schiada is for sale if anybody is interested

How many lbs of boost are the waste gauges supporting? I've been told on my motor to only run av gas or racing fuel. I'm in the middle of my teardown and my pistons look really good (no pitting, just had to clean the carbon buildup off of them, along with barely any tarnishing on the backside from heat). Anyway, just throwing out the information for whatever it's worth. Av Gas isn't that bad on price, just a little over $4 a gallon. Plus for me, I have fiber glass tanks that are holding up in my 21'. Pump gas would eat the resin and cause leaking from what I've been told. When the time comes, I'll replace them, but for now, they are holding fine. Enjoy your new Schiada - Teague does a nice job with his installations. Gettmann
