Sold my 91 octane boat that would use 160 gallons in 2 days at Havasu for an 87 octane boat that will last 1 week in Havasu.
I feel better about my decision every day. No more insurance worries, gas is at where I was paying before now anyways, I just use a lot less of it.
Now, towing the new boat... that uses some damn fuel in the truck.

Luckily I've got a V6. I might be able to do 80+ but I can run an entire weekend on 30 gallons of 85 octane and have just as much as fun as the guys running 85+ burning 160 gallons of fuel in a weekend.
Last summer my boat was parked almost the whole entire time. So this summer I don't give a fawk how much gas prices are I'll be out on the water every weekend that work doesnt interfere with.
