671 setup on ebay

hey guys , what do you think about this blower setup on ebay ? it looks like it is ready to go seems like a heck of a deal expect it doesnt have marine carbs

that's wayyyyy to much for that blower!! you can buy a brand new 6-71 for 2700 and the carbs will cost ya @600 reman'd, another 240 for carb lines and throttle linkage. plus you don't know the condition of that thing;) could have had something pass thru it and you'd never know till it was in frt. of ya

Looks to me like the standard evil-bay deal, accumulate the parts for pennies on the dollar, then post it there as something wonderful. This is no deal. The amount of boost is related to valve and head and cam size. The milder the motor, the more boost a blower will make. TIMINATOR
