You need the URL for the pic. You were using the URL for the whole page. Right click on pic. Left click "properties". Copy and paste the Address.

CP,
Nice looking ride, extra points for the Dodge. You gotta love that. Be careful with that heavy bitch motor on those stringers.
Wisdom from bad experience, if you are running the plastic hose for the oil pressure like it looks in the picture, change it to braided, sunlight will attack that hose and kill it. The ending will be bad.
Brian
You are going to Needles next weekend right?

For example, you are hauling 150lbs more iron than a Bowtie. I don't know the weight of a Ford since I have never built one. I know a Dodge 440 block weighs in it at 275 or 325lbs. The iron motor weighs in at 600lbs or so. Just be careful beating on her in the rough.

Get the URL from the pic you want. If take the one from the thumbnail size, that's what will show. So click on the thumbnail in image center and that will give you the larger pic. Get the address from that one. Or, once you get used to it, you will see the different endings in the URL and can just change that to what you need.

http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/499bell_3-med.jpg Dude if thats a copper line for your oil sending unit get rid of it. I will not use copper or that plastic spaghetti line for anything. When the heads show and I get it put together, I will post a pic of my guage setup. I think its pretty clean the way I mounted them and I also a cluttered dash.

CALIFORNIA PERFORMANCE

nice :D k flat. yea i know stiil trying to de rig the boat. Oh i found out what BOAT stands for BRING OUT ANOTHER THOUGHSAND $$$$$ Is killing me. Everything costs so much but i guess if you want to play you have to pay. I als want to see your gauges. I pulled a bout 50 feet of wire out of the boat that did not go anywhere.

Kindsvater Flat
05-01-2003, 09:23 PM
Here is a pic taken with my first digital camara. It didn't last long. This is how my guages are except I now have a bracket mounted to the head on the starter side. My cousin made the bracket for me in his table router. didn't come back the way I drew it and it was dubbed the money pit.

Looks good so you have 2 water temps in the heads and a oil what are the other two?

Kindsvater Flat
05-01-2003, 09:55 PM
2 water temps mounted just below the heads. 1 oil pressure, mechanical guage. 2 fuel pressure guages, 1 for each pump. My fuel tanks are not tied together. That way I can guess-timate how much time I have left when I run out in one.

Hey it floated :D !! The boat ran pretty well after i got some of the bugs worked out. The ride scared the crap out of my girlfriend , all white knuckled. It was great :D . Now to make it faster.... I got 165 mph on the gps. YEA right i wish. The motor wound up to 5600RPM. Not bad for a stocker.
