Weekend At The Avi !

Calling all jetters and v-drives......
Weekend at the Avi Casino July 26-29th.
We have group rates at $39 for July 26th an $99 for the 27-29th. In order to get these rates we do need 10 rooms booked each night otherwise $49 for July 26th and $139 for 27-29th.
You can call the Avi directly 702-535-5555 let them know that you are with BLWNRAT group in order to get the rates. We are looking for a possible head count so, let us know if you are in..... :D

That is a really good deal, but V-Drivers need to really watch it down there. The water is very shallow, especially in a few areas just past the bridge, there are piles of rock around there. The water also doesnt come up until later in the day, if it comes up much at all. :(

dmontzsta is right except that the water level has been coming up pretty fast. Lately through the week and the weekends it usually fairly safe after 12:00 or so. You never know though!!!

The water is pretty high now a days. Didn't see any troulble spots at 1:30 in the afternoon.

They are running 5 Units a day, this is alot of water. I hear that is going to be the norm all summer, due to the crops needed it down stream. I can always tell what is safe if it reaches the Sea Wall at my parents house in Bullhead.

Therefore I will opt for the 26-28 July gathering and head for home on the 29th. :D

AVI update.....
I have finally recieved the group rate contract.
BLWNRAT and I are reviewing it and sending it back tomorrow.
Therefore, any rooms under the BLWNRAT group at the AVI should be ready for booking on 6/2. All reservations need to be made by 6/26. Again, we need to have 10 rooms booked EACH nite in order to get these rates. If not, they go up in $$$... to what?.... I have no idea! Glad to hear you are coming!!
In order to get these rates we need min. 10 rooms EACH nite. As far as Sunday nite, e didn't have a big feedback for those who wanted to stay Sunday nite, so therefore group rates would NOT apply.
However, if you find that fellow boaters are wanting to stay Sunday nite and we can meet the min. 10 rooms per nite, I will definately extend the contract.

If you are a registered guest at the AVI- there are no launch fees!!!:D
Upon check-in, just ask for a launch pass.

For those of you that are contemplating staying thru Sunday the Pool party on Sunday night is usually pretty cool. The AVI open’s the pool area up to everyone on Sunday nights during the summer. Last year they brought in a DJ from Vegas and played different games like twister.

So, if you are planning on coming.... make your reservations by Tuesday, June 26th or all rooms( reserved or not) will go back into hotel inventory and we will pay rack rate.
