Well, here it is a couple of months ago I started out to change the carpet and motor but as you can see I got a little carried away.
I wanted to share this with you all and thanks to all who have helped along the way. I took it out today for the first time and it was a totally different boat WHAT A RUSH !!!!!!!. I had the pump re built and blueprinted, added the rideplate, droop, I also built new seats, but unfortunately they werent ready, But the upholstery shop assured me I would have them this week, and yes the carpet has been replaced. A ****load of candy and pearl paint, the Olds motor (rebuilt) runs and sounds killer.
I am headed to Havasu next Tuesday through Friday, so hopefully I can start meeting some of you personally.
Thanks again, I wouldn't have even attempted a project like this if it werent for the help of ***boat and all of you who make it all sound so simple
It was a ton of work but when I got on it today and it put me back in the seat, it was worth every bit of time and money.
C-YA on the water !!! :D

Good job on getting her done. If you want to meet up, I don't think you will find too many of us in Havasu. Gotta go either north or south where the little boats run.:)

Very nice :D I hope my boat comes out just as nice when I attack it this winter. :D
BTW I am sure this has been discussed, But the Kona looks a lot like my Tahiti Tiger? (simular lines).

What up Nate? you like my e-bay twisties lmao!!!!
Some guy was selling them on e-bay, he said he thought they fit a ford, so I stayed very quiet and bid high the last 10 seconds WOOO_HOOOO!!!! they fit the olds perfect :D
The upholstery should be done this week, I went off on the poor guy when he told me he hadn't started on them yet, I took the boat over to him (with the old seats in it) and let him know everyone I know is seeing the boat like it is now and telling them all how slow he is. I think he has been working around the clock, I feel pretty guilty now, but he is all over it now: jawdrop:

A trip to the delta sounds like fun, we will have to hook up when you are taking it out for a weekend. You can hold 50 gallons? dam that must be nice, I dont think I have been able to put more than 25 gallons total in mine.

I am not fond of the 50 gallon capacity, not with gas prices the way they are LOL. But yes I have a 20 gallon bow tank, and 2 15 gallon saddle tanks. I can go all weekend on the bow tank.
This weekend I plan on yanking the RH saddle tank and having it cleaned and preasure tested, it keeps cloging the fuel filter.
