Why don't you come over to the Just Jets section and see what you have been missing. It's called the Lower River and its where most of us hang out. It's shallow with rock and sand bars and the only law that is enforced is No boats over 21'. :D

Since you will be at the strip, might want to go visit Wheeler-inn, south of blue water, on the south side of the dam.

You will see it on your right, just before you cross the bridge into Parker.

everywhere you go from the bluwater will be upriver, unless you plan on jumping down the dam.
as far as where to go, about midway up river on the right side will be the Roadrunner, it is a floating bar, hide your keys from yourself and proceed to order and drink as many Road Rapers as you can.

The parker strip is closed to all up river boaters:D :D :D
Well,
You have about 13 1/2 miles of river Dam to Dam.
Bluewater has it's own ramp (you must pay to launch - but they don't ever enforce it). Leave your boat in their slip at night (you MUST pay for this at like $10 night) or just pull it out daily.
There are two "hang outs" one is directly across from Bluewater in the shallows and the other is up river at an eastern bend heading up river, CA side called the little sandbar.
For floating - motor up to Parker dam and shut off. This seems to be the float stretch of the river any more. Lots of boats on the weekend float in this last 1/2 mile stretch just below the dam.
You have a Jet so submerged rocks and sand are not really an issue. There is a low water day during the week I think Thursdays. Just stay in the middle you will do fine.
Roadrunner
Badnochs
Fox's
All three are nice river bars with food served but Badnochs being only a Wine and Beer bar. PLus side is it's super clean but closes at the first hint of being slow.
Skip the crappy casino food and have Breakfast at Roadrunner. If the dock is full just pull onto the beach there.
Have a fun time.

You mean you want to boat her somewhere "softly"?
The casino has its own beach unless you want to hang at the sandbars mentioned. Not to many that are not at campgrounds. There are a few small patch of beaches here and there that can be easily seen as you cruise along.

these guys are mostly right..Roadrunner is great and i will be there.About 4 good beaches, one across from bluewater, one accross from the old Sundance, one after the turn past Castlerock and lastly up by the upper dam.
The water can get rough in the afternoon, but a jet boat should be fine.
Watch the seadoos and the offshore racers running down the middle.
Echo Lodge has a goodbar also.Watch the drinking and driving and have a good time
