A lot of N/Wer's are getting together the 3rd week in July at the Lower Columbia to play. Last year we had 10 boats roll south to meet up with some southern WA peeps. We had 15 or so boats total. Just thought I'd give a shout out to any of you Oregoner's who may want to hook up with us. Here's a link http://www.skagenboats.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=368

That sounds like a good reason to drag the boat up north :)

68, make sure and post some details. I showed up last year but late afternoon and everyone was leaving. I went and hung out with some peeps that stayed on the island on the oregon side for awhile afterwards. I was in the blue tin can boat. Is anybody staying there? Or will it be a day thing for most of ya?
Still a ways out for me to plan for sure but its only a 1/2 hr drive for me to get there.

quiet riot, I remember that happening to you. We were just leaving as you rolled in, sorry about that :( . We've got a thread going on Skagen's board, come join us on his board, if nothing else just for this trip. I'll make sure we talk about the fine details when the time rolls closer.
Mainly wanted to try and contact all you southern (for us) guys/gals and let you know when we were coming to play in your neck of the woods.

Cool! It'll be nice to have another Olds powered Spectra there. :) We already have a few Chris's so you'll probably have a new nick name by the end of the day. ;)

I'm in Wenatchee, moving to Northern Cali, maybe still around for this though.
In the mean time I'll be on the Columbia in front of Wenatchee daily until the 21st.... So if any of you are around here, see you on the River..... :)

Warning for those of you who dont know Droppy. He's sporting a blown 5.3 bizillion cubic inch Ford in that Daytona and is just looking for fresh meat since we are all scared of that boat.
Of course, he needs a 5.3 bizillion cubic inches of Ford to keep up with most of the BBC boats up here. Okay, sometimes I hate myself but what the hell, I get over it............:D
This is a great group of drop dead beautiful boats and it's definately gonna be a great time.
Sorry we're gonna miss it Droppy but Jan and I are headed south to SC for some sun and surf at the same time as this. Beside, I ain't gonna be done with this tugboat anyhow........

I'm thinking not Droppy. Cap is done, bow and stern lights are gone and I took out some stress cracks out of the deck. I'm pretty much ready to spray some sealer and surfacer and start block sanding on it but even if that was behind me and all I had to do is spray some paint, I still have to build a new interior to make room for that belt and pulleys and work out all the little things so July aint gonna happen. I'm going slow and careful. Besides, I've got to find some warm weather and surf or I'm gonna go crazy. It's been a year since Hawaii and it's killing me...
How's you're buttkicker of a boat coming? Are you headed to pick up your blower and motor real soon?

The boat is about done, just waiting for the engine. That in itself is a very crappy subject, I was SUPPOSED to leave Friday morning to pick it up, but I guess it's NOWHERE near ready    I'll fill you in sometime, but not here on this forum.
