When was the last year Hondo made a glass over wood flatbottom? I have a line on '68 Hondo the guy says is a '68 with 496 in it. He may want to part with it a very reasonable price. I just thought all the wooden flats ended in the early '60s. I had an all glass Mandella that was a '63, and later a 68 Nordic.

LeEss13, That 68 Hondo should be glass, if it isn't then its not a 68 but much older. A friend of mine had a 68 and it looks almost identical to my 71. Personally I've never seen a wood Hondo, Bob

You know, I think you're right. It probably is older. It might be one of those deals where someone keeps a bare hull around for years, then does an installation and registers the boat as new special contruction. I'm going to see it this weekend.

Naaahhhh .... The guy didn't show. He was going to bring it over to my neighbors house, but the weather got kind of flakey. I'll track him down this weekend.
