LOoks like they opened one in Costa Mesa. Pretty cool with the inflatable movie screen. Hope the gang bangers dont ruin it for everyone else.

:) ...it is actually in south scottsdale (scottsdale 6) but it only takes about 10 minutes or less to get there from our place.

Since the owners are pushing for the primary booking channel being the internet...hopefully not:idea:

Can only hope. Sure would be nice if they started bringing them back across So. Cal.

I was telling my little girl the other day about the drive in's and she said what kind of food was it.. :jawdrop: :D
poor little thing doesn't and has not ever ever seen a drive in theater.. :jawdrop: :D :)
I hope they do bring them back but smart enough to control or keep out the riff raff..:D

What kind of crowd does that place attract? I think it would be cool to take the kids sometime. They have no idea what it is all about. Should be fun if there are no dirtbags there.

Travel Channel did an hour piece on Drive ins around the US.
Some really good ones are still out there.
The inflateable screen is a good idea.
