To bad, I'ed like to have that one. Of course that wing would have to go. I have been emailing back and forth with the owner of the boat for quite some time now....through 2 auctions now. And he did tell me why he ended the auction early. The boat is still for sale.....but at a price. He will not take anything less than $9500.00 for the boat... firm price (I've tried..). I feel that it's a bit more than the boat is worth, at least to me. Note that there is no whirlaway in it. More $$ after you buy it. Also, as of today, he still does not have the title for it but has applied for it. Another glitch to me.... I offered $7500.00, he said no, I walked.

i thought you didnt put a whirlaway in a circle boat for deceleration? Uh....no. A whirlaway IS a REQUIREMENT for racing with the APBA in all SS/PS/K boats.
Deceleration  What are you talking about? Was I supposed to slow down going into a turn? wink :D :D No need to decelerate. Just dump the boat into the turn and crank the wheel left :D :D

Yeah, that's kind of what I was getting at.
Recently there have been many auctions that have ended early, no reserve and low bidding compared to the sellers perception of what it is worth seems to be the trend.
superdave, I remember you said something about wishing the internet thing was around when you sold your boat, you more than likely would have got more for it back then. Are buyers becoming more savvy? I think that the sellers are not as knowledgable as the people they are marketing to and don't understand the small size of that group.
