there was a 1976 schiada that has showed up here. i took the owner over to the jerk's and we found out that it is a 17ft 2in. with a 9in. cav plate. and it is a circle boat. the jerk can fill u all in on this rare boat. circle jerk said that the mold was distroyed. the boat is good to very good shape. needs some minor fixing and will then be ready to run circle races. the owner and the jerk are going to have it ready to go very soon. it has a 454 block with a 427 crank. dual carb tunnel ram. here is a new player in the nosty circle races in the northwest.

There use to be two over here on the western side of the state.
One orange with flowers.
The other yellow with flowers.
Very dominate in circle racing.
Driven by some guy named Don.

It is my understanding that it is on the roof at Schiada. Schiada doesn't "own" it, but if you wanted to use it you have to talk the Spindler!

These old smaller Schiada are bitchin. You can really make them move with the right power and set-up.

Hey are you going to do that shag carpet treatment on your (trailer) resto?

Thanks Larry, I dont recall saying I know about the mold, just that this late 76 is one of the best S-boat flat ever as related by a Gentleman back east who ran 116 in 1968 something. He stated that in his 50 years of boat racing experience it was the best ride he ever had. On backing up the kilo run, mechanical gremlins bit. Bills on the Vintage Hydro site and a fan of Nostalgia.
Now, hopefully that Marc may be settled down some and consumin a huge milky cold bowl of Cheerios, maybe he will find some shots of the K20 which could be this boat according to his call. Dont spill any milk, pahleasee.
Trailer is painted and the winged K57 awaits impatiently. Maybe soon it will get wet.
Oh funny thing happened, I have to paint outside in the carport and the weather was cooperating very well until the storm blew in some chinese elm tree seeds! I think I'll add water and see if a tree grows.....heck they can grow just about anywhere else;, why not epoxy paint?! Then I can tie the boat up to the tree!:jawdrop:
