Its dead in here and there isnt much tech talk :( So I guess Ill get some tech threads going;)
If you had these Dyno numbers, what impeller would you cut your impeller? Considering this is a hot river boat. No tubing or skiing. 525lb layup......

mike, those numbers are close to what my blown 475 will put out and i'm gonna be runnin a dominator style b-cut and i should be able to turn it close to 6500.tx-19 condor gullwing, dominator pump. if the boat don't run 100, i'm gonna cry:( i removed every bit of weight possible in my 450lb hull, i'm runnin without floor, i removed the ski box, recarpeted. not sure what my total weight is yet but my mill has a lightened eagle forged crank, h-beams,forged srps, alum heads, full roller,750 dp's, weaind 6-71, and i went with a blower crank hub to save another 9-10lbs offa the motor.boat will be done in 3-4wks and i'll post some of my new toy:D

Nice! I just bought a 468 chevy 13-1 comp, bill miller lumi rods, lunati solid roller bumpstick. I am putting my AFR 345 cc heads with a dart ported t-ram with flowed holley 750's. Mine will be done next month too! Ill post pics when I start rigging. Waiting for parts from the powdercoater;)
Im running a berkely pump with a bronze dominator "B" impeller,stainless shaft,top loader,massaged suction,droop and bowl,diverter,rideplate and 2 degree tapered shoe. Not to mention I have a mp3 player and 2 sets of 5 1/4 3way mids under the deck:D

I don't have a clue  what you should run but if the JPC is accurate you will need 1135 hp. :2purples: to turn that Berk. B @ 7500 rpm.

It looks like a B cut will get you where you want to be:D

396, I'd try an AB, and be willing to cut from there if it turns out a hair too big.

not a bad suggestion! bring the power down alittle in the rpm range;) or add alittle nitrous to the set-up and pull more r's on the b-cut

Not knowing more about the combo Id run a B, but your not gonna get to peak power... My numbers are pretty similar, although a little stronger down low where it counts & not as much up top. Im making 800 at 6200 and 825@6800, needless to say Im not gonna trim to get to 6800. Im gonna shake the boat down with my MPD aluminum Jacuzzi B. When I've got the bugs worked out Ill give Jack my Stainless Jac A and try that and trim if it wont hit 6200.

Or maybe change the cam timing? Its making nice power but its up a bit high.

I agree with CS.........I'd do a B or Bc cut.......But hell I'm Psycho. Jk I'd start with a B. :D

Man those #s are high for a effective Impeller program. In order to arrive at power you are going to need the impeller to slip way to much on low end.

I think you already know what he is saying. To get to the power on that motor you will have to trim the impeller or cavitate the hell out of the pump to get there.

To get to your peak HP you will need a small impeller, small impellers have poor a poor holeshot. Whos dyno numbers are these?

Please elaborate for us.....Look at the power band to Torque and you tell me how to get to a effective Impeller Program without under driving it.
