Cheaper to fix the one you have. A new boat will cost more with insurance and you could end up with similar issues.

WTF is up with the site I tried to log on using Lime as an ID and couldn't.... so now I had to use my wifes email address to creat another account.
Piru was windy with lots of chop, about 30 boat in the cove area. We were only there about 4 hours though it was nice to get the boat out. Didn't see one partol boat.
Watch out at Castaic seems like they'll stop you for anything and I would bring beer. We got an open container last year $200.

not bat for an 8,000lb boat... with 95 gallons of gas and camping gear.
i still wonder what it would do with 1/8th tank or less... no gear on board... and just me in the boat... (with a tail wind...!!!) :D

heck, at 60mph... i can get up and go to the cooler in back for a beer...
done it... in 4 ft swells in the gulf of mexico.
i'll have to take you for a ride some time...
dont get me wrong... i love a fast cat, been in one at 130mph .... but the ride isnt the same... like you hit every wave twice or something...?
plus, i like my cuddy.... and to be able to blast a big wake wide open.
she flies good and lands without a single rattle... all i do is back off the revs in the air....

I had some people tell me they knew all about my boat...
the first owner pretty much trashed it... (spoiled rich kid...)
and the second owner got her back to 99% showroom, before he knocked up the ol' lady and i step in and get a great deal...
2 new crate motors with like 28 hours on them.....
ahhhhh... i think i have about 180 hours on it now.
so.... history is nice... but you never know what some people do with them during the winter months....

mine was drug out here BY ME from Florida...
2500 miles is a LONG haul on an 8,000lb boat.
(and i still got 15 mpg...) luv my Cummins....
OH... so, being so heavy.... and me having a 4x2... will i be able to launch/recover at Castaic without expecting problems....???
