K I got a question. On a 383 BB can you swap the heads for 440 heads? And if so do you still run a 383bb intake or a 440bb intake? Got a blower setup complete with carbs scoop and everything for $1200bones and all I have runnin for the momment is 383. Thanks

I will pick up the manifold if you buy the package and don't want it.

RB (440) and B (383-400) intakes are not interchangeable without spacer plates.

A 383 engine is a B block, and a 440 engine is an RB block. More than cu's the blocks are very different. Intake manifolds are different too. Heads are the same but 71's are different as the smog regs changed but they will fit eariler years you just need to match them up 71/71 and 70/70, etc.

Where can I get spacer to make a 440 manifold work with the 440 heads on a 383 block? Or do they have to be made?

You can make a 383 manifild fit on a 440 but not the other way. The 440 block is taller making it wider. The heads will interchange but valves will usally bigger on the 440. I dont I have ever seen a blower manifold for a B block. Another place you can some answers id Moparts.com

Either that wsuwhr guy can make them or you can order them directly out of the mopar catalog. Earnhardt in phoenix has the best deals for online.
Here you can see the spacers on my 440.
