This is the first time since the year before we went on HB (5 years ago) that we are not going up to Isabella. Who else is staying around home?:)

No plans except watching some racing on Sunday. Best day of the year for it (Monaco GP, Indy 500, Coca Cola 600). Few drinks, BBQ, swiming, yahoo!! :)

I'm staying home. Isabella is not all that bad beside the wind, wakeboad boat and the lice run around. I took my boat up last year during labor day. OH and people like lining up about six deep to run not all that safe.

Was going to go Redding, check out Red Bluff, Shasta. First Excursion sort of died, left cig lighter drink cooler plugged in killing batt. Then the trip, compass, gas mileage blanked out, followed by climate control and finally whole dash. Still in shop, ok cause my Dad and Brother want to do this trip.....

I'm staying home this year. wife and daughter have mother/daughter plans and we went to the lake two weeks ago so I need to replenish the funds. Hanging out at home and tearing into my newly aquired '56 Ford F-100 pickup project. Of course BBQ and a few beers. Im in Fullerton-O.C.

Second time in 6 years staying at home. 1st time is was because our new baby was only 1 month old.
This time, my wife is 37.5 weeks pregnant. Cant go anywhere that puts us more than 15 miles away from the hospital.

Dont care to travel this year.Been to havasu many times 10-13 years ago.We use to be able to launch whenever go to the bridge around 11:30 am and find a parking spot none of the this spot is saved crap, sandbar was an unknown, copper was crowded but fun, kokomos wasnt as expensive, wasnt bumper boat to drive thru bridge,1.5 hours was the max it took to take boat out of water at prime time, and so on.
havent been to havasu in at least 9 years for memorial and dont care to anymore.will probably be the first year i have stayed home tried different things when not boat related but the traffic these days on weekends sucks.Might make a trip to do something sat morn and come back sun sometime but who knows.

I don't go out on three day weekens like this. I'm stuck in the crowds mon-fry, why do it on my time off. Nope just sit back and watch all the " did you see that idiot" thread's. Next weekend would be the time to go. Everyone else will be at home sick as a dog or fixing there boat that someone hit or trashed.

We'll be home this weekend too. Jeff will be in Baja next weekend and then we'll be in Mohave the following, then to Wyoming/Montana for 2-3 weeks. Taking care of the yard and house this weekend. I think it will be our last weekend home until after the 4th of July, not that I'm complaining. :D

We don't do the "Big Weekend" thing anymore.
I actually prefer the middle of the week but owning a business makes that a bit difficult as well.

no so I can byu a truck that burns less fuel ~ 130 to fill up is not helping my bottom line...the 10-12 mpg is not helping ether.

Were a B1 general contractor but we only do repair and restore. No new construction. All on the property maintenance (property management) side of the fence. No Private work currently.
Large percentage of my biz includes restoration post mold remediation. This is the reason for working Saturday. Were in it tomorrow so we can get a totally restored HOA clubhouse up and running for use on Monday. Everything new...joists and studs forward. We need to get the carpet tiles (don't ask) installed.
I am not behind but sense we were close the BOD asked the manager to pressure me into finishing. This right here is the downside of what I do. I have to take care of the issue so I can keep everybody happy. Not always easy.

Don't tell me about fuel bro..I have a 98 suburban that holds 44 gallons of that gold..I get 15 towing though,,..
