in my gang box.Over the weekend on my job site,which has about 300 mexicans and 30 white guys,our gang box was pissed in,there a small opening in the side,enough room for ...welll you know.I didnt make a big deal over it monday,laying low,building evidence.Then today the 3 of them were taunting my 2 apprentices in spanish.That was it,I snapped.I had the general super get the drywall foremans and we confronted them through a translater.They denied of coarse.So we threatened to pull off the job call osha and INS.They were asked to leave.BUT,they waited until my apprentices were about to go home ,possibly to kick there asses.So I offered the super to have them removed again,or cops called.They were escorted off the site.........I hate construction anymore

Larwin homes built a very nice tract in Valencia about 25 years ago.
Everyone moved into their nice homes, and when winter came, everyone started up their heat.
A horrible smell drove the homeowners outta their houses.
The workers were pissing in the ductwork during construction, and a lot of it ran down to the fire box's for even a more deluxe hot burning piss putrid odor.
The company couldn't find anyone to fix the problem, the orig contractor left the state.
I took a few on to see what I could do. The Pres of Larwin at the time was a childhood friend and was in a big jam.
The homes interiors had to be ripped apart, all the ducts and furnaces and A coils removed and replaced.
A sad pathetic thing, felt bad for all the families.
I ended up doing about 75% of the project.
Had a legal contract absolving me of any residual liability before I'd touch anything.
A really sorry tale for sure.

i tend to differ with you since you dont know s**t about the industry.....the reason we havent lowered our price is because the price for materials have gone soo high that most have had to hire people for less money just to pay their bills, most small contractors, are just getting by, and with it soo easy for any dip shit to get their cont lic ,and nobody to hold them liable for their crappy work most of the good contractors have had to lower their bids just to get work ......soo you can take your foot out of your mouth any time:)

I am a general superintendent and I have had to deal with stuff like this too. It was a floor sink that was under test that the plumber had to reach in to pull the plug. I tossed the landlords drywallers off the job and changed the lock box on the building. the only ones on the job on the weekend were the drywallers and the plumbers and I am betting the plumbers didn't piss in their own floor sink. The LL had to find someone else to complete my T/I drywall.
They also piss on the roof to avoid going down the ladder or a multitude of other irritating habbits. But not just Mexicans. I work with a LOT of good guys from south of the border who are good at their jobs and want nothing more than to do a good job and get paid. Of course they are my sub contractors and I have spent a lot of time going through contractors to get this group doing my projects but I am not generalizing based on race. People in general are inconsiderate and ignorant. Mannser and consideration for others and what they have worked hard to get has been replaced with dishonesty and jellousy SP

The best one I think was I was doing models in Coto De Caza and the interior was getting ready for paint the exterior was brown coating and I was marking the rooms for paint. I was in one of the bedrooms and this one Mexican starts pissing through the vent cut in the visquen at the window so I spray painted him and his pants then went outside and fired the f#@ker. He was pissed at me for spraying his unit, hands,and pants. I told him to F@#k off and if you have a problem call the cops or I will if you don't leave. They are always pissing in the tubs, showers, floors ,even on new cabinets. I never laughed so hard, finally caught one:D

Almost every trade has either been taken over or is ready to be, by the Mexis. Whitey has been pushed out of so many trades from Machinists to Construction to mechanics..........Trade schools are full of them.
Of coarse there are some good ones but as a whole they are lazy and do shotty/sloppy work....JMO
My buddy who owns a small Fabrication business, had his guys throwing the shitty toilet in the restroom trash cans. He got so discusted and fed up he began putting the trash cans in their lunchroom before there break...it soon stopped as they got the message.

No foot in mouth here. Just got out of this end of the biz. Tired of all the the BS. No yodas whey. I know that many contractors, not all but some turn a blind eye. How do I now this? I speak fockin Spanish. I understand Spanish and I hear what the wachos say. Contractors know they are illegal just turn a blind eye. A good Framer could make w/ tools 25 or more per hour back in the day. Way more than that with experience. We could layout and frame square & clean and would never piss in or on anyone's tools. That's their livelihood! Today you can get two wachos for less than 25 bux and laborer too. I know many Chicanos in the Biz I'm one of them.

I gotta add my two cents here. Now I'm a young white guy working in the concrete construction world, so I def see things from the bottom up whereas some (not all) supers etc may not see the whole story. while pissing on your stuff is wrong no doubt, the statements of a few that you should never hire a "mexican" ( or someone from Guatamala, or El Salvador or any South American) is just not possible. Now this is not addressed to you guys who have worked in the industry for a while and work hard, but as far as new hires go, most young white people just are not willing to work for the money, whatever the wage may be. The young white kids want the easy way out. So sooner or later when you older guys retire a "mexican" more than likely will be hired because for the most part they are willing to work. I see it all the time. Some new white guy gets hired, realizes the work is to hard and leaves a week later. Im the only white guy with a crew of my "brown" freinds and I have no problem cuz these guys pull thier on weight. My advice? If ya dont know spanish start practicing.
